Co Creative Studios is one of the few production companies in Hawaii with the capabilities of taking a project from script to screen. Working with Hawaii’s top talent, we are able to do this while maintaining rigorous quality control. Our local knowledge, connections and deep respect for this place and it's people, allows us to achieve amazing results. Established in 2006, Co Creative is taking on numerous HD television, commercial and film projects, creating high quality programming for such organizations as The Kamehameha Schools, Hawaiian Airlines, Showtime Networks, Straub and Hawaii Pacific Health. Quality television is a standard at Co Creative, producing and collaborating on over 100 shows from Worldwide Reality TV like “Destination X,” or “The Industry” on CBS, to Nationwide Sports like Showtime’s “Elite XC: Ultimate Fighting” and “Extreme Sailing,” featured on The Water Channel. Co Creative leads Hawaii in Digital 4K Production. We have worked with the Hawaii International Film Festival since 2007, offering Hawaii’s first RED Camera Workshops to the Filmmaking community. The 2008 HIFF trailer, starring Jason Scott Lee and Kelly Hu, was also shot on Co Creative’s RED#138, in collaboration with Shooter’s Film Production. Of special interest is recent work featured in the Kaulani Heritage Room of the Royal Hawaiian Center. Directed and shot by Vince Keala Lucero, and edited by Lindsay Kent and Carrie Keller, the three short films talk about the foundation of the Kamehameha Schools, the current state of the Hawaiian People, and the sacred area of Waikiki known as Helumoa. Other collaborators include writers Brett Wagner, Alani Apio, and Lynn Cook, post supervisor Scott Lee Mason, and producers Jo Pedro and Angie Laprette. Utilizing the ultra high definition, 4K resolution of the RED Camera, the three films play in an immersive, specially designed, 4 screen HD surround sound theater, synced to colored lighting effects. A highly technical and complex multimedia experience conceptualized by Co Creative, the films play to hundreds of visitors each day.
